Last week, Bollywoord director Homi Adajania and actress Deepika Padukone released a video dedicated to Vogue Empower Initiative. The video went viral, getting 7 Million views on YouTube.

 

 

The video was hailed as a ‘step in the right direction’ by many people.

However, a few lines in the video irked some. ‘It is My Choice to have sex outside marriage’ was one such line which caused an outrage.

Soon after, a male version of the video emerged. The video ended with the message ‘Respect Women and Men. We don’t support cheating or adultery’. Striking the right chords, the video gained popularity as well, getting 1.3 Million views on YouTube.
